SILDENAFIL (ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION) - ORAL
PHONETIC PRONUNCIATION: (sil-DEN-a-fil)
COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Viagra
GENERIC NAME(S): sildenafil citrate
Uses
USES: Sildenafil is used to treat male sexual function problems (impotence or erectile dysfunction-ED). In combination with sexual stimulation, sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis to help a man get and keep an erection. This drug does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (such as HIV, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis). Practice "safe sex" such as using latex condoms. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.
How to use SILDENAFIL (ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION) - ORAL
HOW TO USE: Read the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you start taking sildenafil and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. To treat erectile dysfunction-ED, take this drug by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually as needed. Take sildenafil at least 30 minutes, but no more than 4 hours, before sexual activity (1 hour before is the most effective). Do not take more than once daily. A high-fat meal may delay how quickly the drug begins to work. The dosage is based on your medical condition, response to treatment, and other medications you may be taking. Be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products). Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve.

For Diabetic impotence: These TEVA 4353 100 mg tabs do not work as well as name brand Viagra. The VA is doing us no favors using this brand.

For ED: TEVA 5343 doesn't work near as well as the blue Diamond shaped Viagra pill. It says its SILDENAFIL, yet it doesn't work. It actually acts the same as a placebo would work. Absolutely no erectile response whatsoever. I've talked to another person who took the pills after being used to the actual blue pills and he's very disappointed as well. Don't know what kind of scam this company is pulling on the public, but it's pulling a big scam on the federal government as well, ie, the VA, as I get SILDENAFIL as part of my service connected disability, after effects of diabetes attributed to Agent Orange exposure. The bottle of white pills says it SILDENAFIL, yet it doesn't have the same results as the actual blue diamond pills do. Therefore it's not SILDENAFIL in any form I'm used to, and I've taken them for years.

For ID: Not very good. Viagra works much better. Gov't spends billions in foreign aide and the vets get the cheap stuff.

For Erectile dysfunction: TEVA 5343 does not work. Works so poorly I looked at the labeling on the pill to confirm it was the correct pill, or a legitimate medication. Saw no effect whatsoever. I have had sildenafil before that has worked, but not this one.
