Faq for SHARK CARTILAGE - ORAL

Shark cartilage is the tough, elastic tissue found in the skeletons of sharks.

Some people believe that shark cartilage supplements can support joint health, reduce inflammation, and potentially inhibit the growth of new blood vessels in cancerous tumors.

Shark cartilage is usually available in the form of capsules or tablets. The recommended dosage can vary depending on the individual and the specific product, so it is advisable to follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer or consult with a healthcare professional.

Possible side effects may include nausea, vomiting, constipation, and diarrhea. Additionally, shark cartilage may contain high levels of calcium, which could potentially lead to hypercalcemia (elevated calcium levels in the blood). It is important to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.

There is limited scientific evidence to support the claim that shark cartilage can cure cancer. While some studies have shown potential anti-cancer properties in laboratory settings, further research is needed to understand its effectiveness in human cancer treatment.

Some alternative supplements for joint health include glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, turmeric, omega-3 fatty acids, and collagen peptides. It is always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen.

The sourcing and sustainability of shark cartilage products should be considered. It is advisable to look for products that are sourced from sustainable fisheries or those that use cartilage derived as a byproduct of other industries, such as fishing for human consumption.

Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should always consult with their healthcare provider before taking any new supplement, including shark cartilage. It is important to ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby.

The time it takes to see any potential benefits may vary depending on the individual and the specific condition being addressed. Results may range from a few weeks to several months, and it is important to be patient and consistent with the supplement regimen.
