By suppressing LH, GANIRELIX ACETATE PREFILLED SYRINGE helps to prevent premature egg release and increases the chances of successful fertilization during fertility treatments.

It is administered as an injection under the skin (subcutaneous injection). The prefilled syringe comes with a needle attached, and the injection is usually given in the abdomen or thigh.

Common side effects may include injection site reactions such as redness, swelling, or pain. Some women may also experience headache, nausea, or abdominal discomfort. It is important to discuss any concerns or unusual symptoms with your healthcare provider.

If you miss a dose, contact your healthcare provider as soon as possible for instructions. It is important to follow the prescribed dosing schedule and not to administer a double dose to make up for a missed one.

No, GANIRELIX ACETATE PREFILLED SYRINGE should not be used during pregnancy as it is intended for use in women undergoing fertility treatments to prevent premature ovulation.

It is important to inform your healthcare provider about any allergies, medical conditions, or medications you are currently taking, including prescription and over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

It should be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C (36°F and 46°F). Do not freeze. The syringe should be protected from light and kept out of reach of children.

Many women are able to self-administer the injections after proper training and instruction from their healthcare provider. However, it is important to follow your doctor's guidance and consult them if you have any concerns or difficulties with self-administration.
