Azelaic Acid Gel - Topical is commonly used to treat acne and rosacea.
This gel works by reducing the production of keratin, a protein that can clog pores and cause acne. It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Common side effects may include skin dryness, itching, burning, or tingling. It is also possible to experience skin discoloration or worsening of acne initially.
It is always best to consult with your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using any medication, including Azelaic Acid Gel - Topical.
Results may vary for each individual, but it usually takes several weeks of regular use to notice an improvement in acne or rosacea symptoms.
It is generally safe to use other skincare products, but it's important to avoid using any products that may irritate or dry out the skin further.
In most countries, Azelaic Acid Gel - Topical is available by prescription only.
It is not recommended to use this gel on sensitive or broken skin. If you have any open wounds or irritated areas, consult your doctor before using the gel.
