For Severe pain: I shattered the bottom two ribs on my left side, one of the most painful injuries I've ever had. I'm scripted 1-2 tablets of 15mg oxycodone every 4 hours as needed for pain. I'm grateful that this medication is so helpful. At night I can actually get some sleep. During the daytime I'm able to do my p physical therapy, which I would not be able to if I didn't have oxycodone to help take some of the pain away.
