    Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from food, drink and animal feedstuffs. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Wear protective gloves. Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. If skin irritation or rash occurs: get medical advice/attention. If on skin: wash with plenty of soap and water. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid release to the environment. If in eyes: make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. Harmful if swallowed. Do not breathe vapor/spray.     Keratex Hoof Putty

    A flexible, semi-permanent wax that seals and stabilises horn separation cavities and punctured soles in your horse’s feet.

    Keratex Hoof Putty seals and waterproofs horn separation cavities, preventing germs from compromising hoof health. Self-adhesive, flexible and won’t drop out or deteriorate.

    Uses: Seals and stabilises hoof cavities caused by seedy toe, white line disease and other hoof conditions resulting in horn separation. Slow release of natural disinfectants and antibacterials. Prevents grit and stones from entering the hoof. Can support tubes for flushing or draining cavities.

    Instructions for Use: Start with a clean dry hoof. Wash and dry your hands as well. Work a piece of Hoof Putty in your hands until it turns soft and tacky. Press this piece of putty into the cavity. Repeat until cavity is filled and putty is level with surrounding horn/sole. When shoeing over or close to, areas filled with Hoof Putty, it is essential that only cold shoeing or glueing is used. Where Hoof Putty has been applied under a shoe, it must be replaced at next shoeing. In all other cases check weekly and replace as required.

    Keep away from horse’s eyes, nose and mouth. Not to be used on animals intended for human consumption.

    Hoof Putty Ingredients Statement. This product contains: Microcrystalline wax CAS No. 63231-60-7. Colophony CAS No. 8050-09-7. Sulphur CAS No. 7704-34-9. Turpentine CAS No. 8006-64-2. D&C Green #6 CAS No. 128-80-3.
