For the treatment of epilepsy in adults, the recommended starting dose is 600 mg taken once a day. The dose can be increased by 600 mg every three days until the maximum dose of 2400 mg/day is reached. For the treatment of RLS in adults, the recommended starting dose is 600 mg taken once a day. The dose can be increased by 600 mg every three days until the maximum dose of 1800 mg/day is reached. For the treatment of nerve pain caused by herpes virus or shingles in adults, the recommended starting dose is 600 mg taken three times a day. The dose can be increased by 600 mg every three days until the maximum dose of 3600 mg/day is reached.
Side effects of Lineage/Impax G:
Common side effects of Lineage/Impax G include drowsiness, dizziness, and swelling of the hands and feet. Other side effects may include fatigue, headache, diarrhea, dry mouth, and constipation. Serious side effects of Lineage/Impax G include suicidal thoughts, seizures, and allergic reactions.
Interactions with other medications:
Lineage/Impax G can interact with other medications. It is important to inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking before starting to take Lineage/Impax G.
